It would be helpful for Collaborators to be able to preview a launcher before selecting it for a new campaign. Possibly offer the option to hover over the launcher description to view screenshots of the included templates, or click a link to preview.
Our Jeto users on several occasions have asked our Ops team to create previews of the assets within Jeto launchers (i.e. in PDF or another format). This is because they often don't know which launcher they need to use based on the name or description alone. Creating previews outside of Jeto defeats the purpose of Jeto to some degree and would be difficult to maintain over time. We've tried to train our users to simply open up the launchers and click into the previews to see the assets but they prefer being able to see previews before selecting a specific launcher and the previews often take long to load. A thumbnail, hover, or other visual representation of the launcher assets would be helpful.
We got 3 votes on this idea . Considering that other requests have a higher priority level this one will be moved to "future improvement" for now. We will keep it in the backlog and re-evaluate in future releases.
Yes! I think something similar would work. We've had feedback from collaborators that it is difficult to choose a launcher without having a preview of the modules and layout. I think the new Email Layout Editor feature is a huge help and will help us condense our launcher library and make searching easier, but it would be great to link out to a preview of the form and template to help users decide which launcher fits the needs of their campaign.
Hi Mackenzie,
We love this idea.
I was reviewing a similar use case for Admins to be able to preview assets as they are building/editing a Launcher.
My suggestion would be to have a link to preview that would open a new tab. From there, similar to what you have on a new campaign page, a user could view the campaign form as well as navigate to preview assets, but without having the ability to save draft nor submit.
Do you think a similar experience could work for this?
