When a rich text token is used within an email, it impacts the text version of the email in Marketo. Within the text version, you see the <div> and<p> tags. In order to remove these, you need to go in to the text version and edit it to remove the token and paste in the copy. This is not ideal in trying to save time.
Since styles are not needed in text versions, it would be ideal for these to be stripped. An example is attached, with the rich text token content highlighted.
