Adding a small tool tip or note on single line fields will help those submitting and editing campaigns understand what the character limit is. Currently there is just a red error around the field, which may confuse some users.

Sorry for the (very) late reply on this - it fell off our radar. This feature already exists in Jeto.
The Launcher field properties contain a section named "Help Text"
This will provide a contextual text that users will see when hovering on the "?" icon.
- see screenshots. Alternatively the "Placeholder" parameter will also allow to display help text directly inside the field and the text remains visible until the user types their value.
